When the older lady was at wong lee it was superb but now it has slipped massively! I have give them the benefit of the doubt. But now it is peaking palace from now on. Never seem to miss.
Just had the worst chips and gravy the gravy tasted like they put half a point of sugar in it and it cost 2.80. tried their Hong Kong sweet and sour and although not as sweet as the gravy it was more jelly than sauce. Save your money go elswhere
Used to be good many years ago but the last couple of times its been dreadful and to top it all off had food from here last night and have never been so poorly in my life. The staff arent very attentive and the delivery drivers are rude and just stand in the way ...... will definitely not be using again!
Completely ignore you till they are ready to acknowledge you which can be quite some time. Understand they are busy but some small gesture of your existence would be appreciated. Several times I've ordered a chop suey roll and the bean sprouts have been rotten ... avoid
This place has its faults. The elderly lady who is usually taking orders has no idea what manners are. They constantly take as many orders as they can (over the counter, by phone and online)I have previously placed an order over the phone for me to collect. I turned up at the Chippy 20 minutes later as advised. Let the lady know that I had arrived to collect my order and was told it would be ready in 10 to 20 minutes. I wasn't happy with this but, I don't like to complain as I'm not keen on having my food interfered with.After a further 20 minutes, I let her know that I was not happy after several people came in, ordered over the counter and walked out."Yes, yes, yes" she said " it's coming. Can't you see we are busy"I held my tongue and waited a while longer.It was just over 65 minutes from the time I placed my order until I walked out and went elsewhere.Having said all that. There is one BIG, undeniable fact and that is ..........THEY MAKE THE BEST GRAVY I HAVE EVER TASTED
